The Keo 2 Max Carbon is the next evolution in Look's Keo Carbon line with a larger contact area for efficient power transfer and ample support. Lightweight carbon injected nylon body and INOX stainless kick-plate. A row of needle bearings and two cartridge bearings spin on tough oversized chromoly spindles. Dual seals ensure trouble-free performance in all weather conditions. Adjustable spring tension from 12Nm to 18Nm. For use with standard Keo cleats. Gray Grip cleats with 4.5 degrees of float included. 246 grams per pair (weight does not include cleats).

light, but not mechanically sound

Put about 2000 miles on these pedals over the past year. I also have the keo classic

Pros - very light pedals. very audible snap when you engage the pedals, so you know you're in it.

Cons - lots of rolling resistance due to the rubber seal between bearings and spindle. took the rubber gasket off, and it spins like a charm. Unfortunately, the seal needs to stay in place to keep the weather out.

If your concern is weight, not rolling resistance, then buy these.
