Shimano's newest top-of-the-line road shoe delivers some new high-tech materials and a redesigned carbon sole for 2011. The R315E is an excellent high performance option for the committed training or competing cyclist and features a wider fit than the standard R315 model.

    • *The moldable insole can be heated in a home oven and then molded around the foot by placing it inside the shoe and standing on it while warm. Additional support is included for both the arch and metatarsal pads, which can be affixed to the insole after the insole cools. For the best molding results, you can get them vacuum-fitted at an Authorized Shimano footwear dealer.

The most comfortable shoe ever

This is by far, the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. Uppers are super soft with no memory so no stretching to worry about.... Soles are very stiff and provide a very stable platform with a roomy toe box ....they seem to run on the big side compared to other brands... I have a Sidi 45mega and bought this in a 45 wide...thankfully I was installing a custom footbed I had made previously which took up the extra room... If I didn't use the footbed I would have needed a half size smaller. highly recommend these shoes!!!
