Sidi Dominator 5 Mega MTB Shoe

I bought these shoes to use on my 'road' bike for medium and long rides. Even though they are an MTB shoe I will probably continue to use my older shoes for the wet and muck of MTB riding. I chose these shoes instead of the SIDI road shoes because I did not want to go to the expense of purchasing road style pedals I'm staying with SPD on both bikes. Adapter plates are available for SIDI road shoes but even SIDI recommends using the MTB shoes instead of the road shoes with adapter plates. These shoes fit well for my narrower BC width feet (I've read EE width fit well ) and are easy to adjust while riding. The firm sole improves the downward force and the adjustable strap gives more power to the upward pull from the top of the foot instead of behind the toes as felt in other SPD style shoes. Dealing with biketiresdirect is easy and they are quick to correct any mistake. Initially the wrong item was delivered, BTD quickly sent the right item, paid for any out of pocket expense I incurred, and compensated me for time spent correcting the mistake. I can buy bike gear on line from many sources but it's biketiredirect's awesome customer service that will keep me coming back.
